G/T Day 5-Curriculum Part III

Participants will be introduced to the components of curriculum that should be differentiated through depth, complexity, and pacing to accommodate the characteristics of gifted students.
Important Session Information:
Day 5 of the five-day, 30-hour state mandated GT training will focus on TPSP as an effective tool in servicing GT students. Participants will conduct an extensive investigation of the state web site as well as collaborate with colleagues in presenting various TPSP project pertinent to their area of study and teaching/certification. Participants will leave the session with a deeper understanding of how TPS adds rigor, depth and complexity, and creative (divergent and convergent) thinking to the GT curriculum.
