Participants will be introduced to the components of curriculum that should be differentiated through depth, complexity, and pacing to accommodate the characteristics of gifted students.
Day 4 of the five-day 30-hour state mandated training will focus on creative thinking as an element of rigor and depth and complexity of curriculum. There will be a focus on divergent and convergent thinking with instructional strategies throughout the day that are designed to help teachers create more engaging lessons filled with depth and complexity, rigor, and higher level thinking.
