Literacy Toolbelt The Super Powers Within!

Unlock the Assistive Technology supports built into the Instructional Technology tools already in your classroom! Explore software supports that already exist in Apple, Google, and Windows computing devices to support literacy. Ubiquitous technologies like text-to-speech, speech-to-text, word prediction, graphic organizers, and authoring tools can enable students with disabilities to access the curriculum and be successful learners.

This training was created as part of the Texas Assistive Technology Network (TATN) and funded by the Texas Education Agency. TATN identified the need to support general and special education personnel in supporting literacy for all students using the built in features of Apple IOS, Windows and Google/Android/Chrome.
