Leading Learners is designed to help campus and district leaders strengthen instructional leadership by introducing them to high leverage systems for impacting student achievement by leading self, staff, teachers, and students in learning. These action-oriented sessions take place over 4 days and act as a primer to instructional leadership. The intended audience includes Superintendents, principals, directors, and lead teachers.
Days 1 & 2 focus on Data-Driven Instruction (DDI).
Day 3 focuses on Student Culture Routines.
Day 4 focuses on Leading Change.
Participants leave each day with action steps for planning implementation.
On Day 1, each participant receives a copy of the book, Leverage Leadership, which includes options for turning around this professional learning to school faculties.
Attending all sessions as a leadership team (possibly including lead teachers) offers the best scenario for making meaningful improvements to instructional leadership.
