Have you ever considered how a person with DeafBlindness, or MIVI, establishes the concepts, and build language, that you and I, as sighted hearing people, learn incidentally, through our distance senses? During this two-day training we will investigate how to initiate conversation and, in-turn develop meaningful shared experiences.

This is the first of a two-day training. During our first day we will focus on interaction and bonding, conversational strategies, and tactile communication. We will also look at the effects that stress can have on one’s ability to be a fully intact learner.
