The Latino Family Literacy Project

This is a 3.5 hour training for the implementation of programs offered by The Latino Family Literacy Projects and is provided for teachers, administrators, bilingual aides, and parent coordinators. Once trained, the programs are a perfect fit for Hispanic parents for Title I and Title III Parent Involvement programs. Candidates need to be trained only once to be able to implement any of our programs, since they are structured with the same format, and can choose to implement any age-specific program.

The training workshop provides the knowledge needed to implement the program, including a cultural competency overview for working with Hispanic ESL parents, and uses the step-by-step method for each age appropriate program.

Important Session Information:

If your district would like to purchase a kit to implement this program, go to www.latinoliteracy.com.  However, a kit is not required to attend this training.
