G/T Update for Administrators & Counselors






Texas law requires that educators providing services to gifted/talented students have the specific qualifications as stated in the Texas Administrative Code §89.2 .  School districts shall ensure that administrators and counselors who have authority for program decisions have a minimum of six hours of professional development that includes nature and needs of gifted/talented students and program options. 



Important Session Information:


This half-day afternoon session will follow the morning 1/2 sessions.  This will be a time to individually meet with districts in need of review of information for Exemplary status for their district or campus or who need some one-on-one time with the consultants to address specific campus/district needs.
