The
Cross-Battery Assessment Software System
(X-BASS) allows school evaluation specialists the ability to analyze data from multiple batteries to help determine a pattern of strengths and weaknesses within a student's cognitive and academic ability profile. This workshop will briefly review the legal requirements of SLD, the broad and narrow ability groups, a case study using the X-BASS tool and how all of this ties back to the classroom so that evaluators can make meaningful recommendations in their evaluation reports.
