Nutrient Analysis LAB:
NSLP PROGRAM operators will have the opportunity to bring their own Ingredient labels, Recipes and Menus to the ESC computer lab and be guided to use the nutrient analysis software to monitor their calories, saturated fat, sodium, and other nutrients in district menu plans. Using the software known as “Nutrikids,” participants will cover fundamental principles of entering ingredients, recipes using the Yield Factor Method, and develop compliant menus. More advanced users can receive help in learning to use their own software to produce computerized production records.
Prerequisite; Must have at least beginners computer skills!
