Texas Student Learning Objectives
SLO Training - Measuring Student Growth in Teacher Appraisal






The main goal of this training is a conceptual understanding of the Texas Student Learning Objectives (SLO) process. The training will aim to answer these questions:

  • What is the value of the SLO process?
  • What pedagogical questions to SLOs address?
  • How do the SLOs fit in the broader goals of teacher appraisal?

This training will also provide a framework for districts and campuses to begin planning for implementation.

The minimum charge for this session is $50, as established by the TEA.
