Decreasing Risky & Unhealthy Behavior in Students



Schools often have a limited number of professional resources available to them, such as mental health providers who are trained in risk assessments and treatment of sometimes complicated mental health matters. How can a school that cares for its students best help them? What options are available to help decrease risky, unhealthy behaviors?

Lori Vann, LPCS,  author, consultant, and national expert on issues relating to teen mental health will address:

  • Self-Harm
  • Behavior Interventions for Students Dealing with Trauma
  • Rules, Laws, and Best Practices Related to Suicide Detection and Intervention
