Secondary Math Planning Cohort
Grade 6 - at Region 8






Within many of our districts, teachers are either alone in planning for their grade level or for multiple grade levels. Join us for this opportunity to come together with other teachers of a single grade level to collaboratively plan for the upcoming 6 weeks, based on the common Scope and Sequence as presented in TEKS Resource Year at a Glance (YAG).  As a participant in this planning session we ask you to bring both your questions and your solutions concerning the upcoming concepts, an open mind, and any resources that could potentially be used.  The session will be facilitated by your Math Specialist, but no formal agenda exists.  An online platform will be created to house the results of the grade level discussions.

Important Session Information:


Please bring your planning resources (activities, websites, manipulative list, etc.) for the upcoming six weeks grading period.  Chrome books will be available for use, or you may bring your own device.
